Her novel concept to learn double stops begins by playing duets first, with the identical notes combined and rewritten as a double stop solo on the opposite page. As students play the duets first, their ear is given a nice example to help them along as they learn to play the double stop solos.
Volume I is for students that have never played double stops before (late Suzuki book 3, Bach Bourees, Seitz Concerti) and has no shifting or 4th fingers. You will find lots of 3rds, 6ths and octaves with ringing 3rd fingers. Ideal for church services and special occasions.
