An awesome ensemble opportunity for four intermediate violinists (minimum Seitz, Kuchler, Reiding, Vivaldi concerti). The unique feature about these arrangements is the contrast between the contemporary (1st verse) and classical (2nd verse) styles. There is a lot of busy passagework in the faster carols and lots of moving inner voices in the slower carols. The melody is traded off between all four violin parts.
Use the drop-down menu to choose either four bound parts with a digital score or completely digital. Don't forget to read in the score how/why these carols were written...!
Contents: Angels We Have Heard on High (G), Away in a Manger (D), Jingle Bells (G), O Come All Ye Faithful (G), Silent Night (G), Hark! the Herald Angels Sing (G), It Came Upon the Midnight Clear (D), O Christmas Tree (B flat).
