Martha's double stop solo and duet series continues in this lovely 17-piece compilation of favorite songs from Suzuki book one, along with other favorite folk songs. On one side of the page, the student plays a duet, with the identical two notes combined on the opposite page as a double stop solo. Between the two volumes, each containing two verses, there are four distinct levels of double stop difficulty.
Volume one is for students that have never played double stops and has lots of ringing octaves, sixths and thirds without the use of the 4th finger. Volume two? Well, watch out, pull out the stops, mad difficult -- minimum Suzuki book 6 level.
