Alison Fujito, 1st violinist with the Pittsburgh Symphony, and her student, Chloe, a sophomore at Eastman, perform clips from all three movements of Martha's duet arrangement of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto.

The Mendelssohn Violin Concerto: Simplified Trio and Advanced Double Stop Accompaniment has both Simplified and Advanced accompaniment options. Includes both a score as well as a separate part for the accompaniment.

DOUBLE STOP ACCOMPANIMENTS: Teachers can now BE the orchestra for their students in this favorite violin concerto! Martha’s love of double stops entered her violin teaching studio over 20 years ago, as she would “on the spot” make up double stop accompaniments to pieces that students were working on. The end result adds greater harmonic fullness. The level of difficulty for the Mendelssohn double stop accompaniments is Mozart concerti / solo Bach.

TRIOS: It makes perfect sense to add a third player to form Simplified Trios by dividing the double stops. Grab a friend so you can enjoy playing divisi harmonies with a soloist!
